How to Make an Origami Penguin

What kind of sweet skills impress the ladies? Why, origami, of course! And penguins because, well, penguins.

Created as part of a Foundations of Multimedia class with James Brumby, Sarah Burns, Lindsey Filipowicz, and Zack Karas, Joseph was bound and determined to make something more than a basic instructional video. With a five minute time limit and only a month to finish the project, Joseph mastered "origami penguinship" in three days, allowing the team to focus on the presentation the rest of the month.

Lindsey provided the idea and process, James recorded the footage, Zack voiced and co-scripted the video with Joseph, Joseph made all the visual stuff and edited the final video, and Sarah kept everyone in line and made sure Zack and Joseph didn't go too far overboard.

Fun fact: Joseph made and colored 39 penguins of various sizes (not including the hordes from three-plus weeks of practice) just to make a seven second long joke. He also made a giant mega penguin out of a posterboard.
